Mia and Lee were married at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel in July last year. I have known Mia since we were small children and I also knew most of the bridesmaids. We grew up in a small village called Cold Ash and Mia went to the same primary school as us in my brothers year. I knew most of the bridesmaids as growing up they were friends with my little brother and had previously photographed Amy's day and also am photographing another one this year (congratulations Mel!) When Mia approached me about her wedding I remember thinking how young she was to get married before realising actually I am just getting older :D It has been lovely to see the girls grow up and get married and I am so happy I get to see their wedding days! :D
Amy and Bryony helping Mia with her hair and makeup, the girls did a brilliant job and had such a laugh doing it. Mia spoke to me before the wedding and said their were going to be rather a lot of bridesmaids as she couldn't bear to leave any of them out. They have all been such close friends for so long.
Mia's eyes are so blue in the photo below!
Mia's mum and dad look so happy here, this is the moment that Lee and Mia had their first kiss, also....how much do these two lovely ladies look like each other! :D Two peas in a pod.
It was SO windy taking these photos, but the girls got the giggles and did not stop laughing :D
The Christchurch Harbour Hotel has its own peer! Brilliant for photos!
The centrepieces and table names both had a beach theme to them. I loved the driftwood and lanterns filled with sand and a candle, it all looked adorable and very relaxed which is what they were going for. Mia's brother Sam and a couple of the other guests having a giggle, just before everyone went in to eat.
Mia having a cry during her dads speech.
After the speeches we went to the beach to take some photos with the sea and of course the cute beach huts made great photos!
Sometimes the best photo is through the water. I was actually stood in my suit with my trousers rolled up and VERY cold feet to get this photo above :)
