What a staircase for the dress reveal! Megan's dads reaction was just so lovely he was so incredibly proud.
Megan smiled the whole way through the ceremony, after the day this part especially is such a blur, it is so nice to have photos to look back on.
Also to see the smiles tears and laughter you would otherwise miss!
Pynes House made the most incredible backdrop for the outdoor drinks reception.
Megan her sister and dad are all incredibly close. I love this photo as I think it shows that truly special bond. Family is everything.
From this moment on it all descended into carnage and I loved it! When I have been at a wedding all day by the end of the day I really get to know the guests and that is another reason I love the dancing photos. Everyone has had some wine and because I have been there all day they are all completely comfortable with me photographing them, this along with the energy of the dancing and happiness always create some amazing photos.

From the start Roseanna could not stop laughing and it was so infectious, I knew it was going to be the most brilliant day!
The post barn is so pretty!
The moment the bridesmaids and bridesmen first saw the dress!
I love this with Josh wiping away a tear as Roseanna walks up the aisle to marry him.
Could they be any happier?
Oh wait I think they just got happier!
If you are keen on not having photos looking too posed having someone taking the photos who you feel totally comfortable with is such a big help. The more comfortable you feel with your photographer the better the photos will turn out.
I just love photographing speeches! They make some of the best photos, I just love capturing all of those happy faces
]]>
The girls got ready onsite in a beautiful cottage, here is the moment they saw Beth in her gown for the first time
So many happy faces I love the confetti as everyone is always so excited to congratulate them, it is such a perfect moment with lots of noise and smiling faces.
Group photos are normally wanted but Beth and Niv really wanted a more relaxed feel to the day, so as well as doing the standard formal poses I photographed them in a more natural style that is more in keeping with who they are and the feel of the wedding.
The weather was wonderful and the relaxed vibe that Niv and Beth wanted was perfect. They are both really relaxed bohemian people so it was never going to be stressful!
Capturing the laughter and tears in the speeches is one of my favourite things to do.
Marshmallows on the fire at the wedding was such a cool idea.
The marquee looked just so beautiful at night!
]]>I always love photographing at this beautiful venue, but this was even more special to me as Emma and Rob had to postpone their wedding due to covid so them getting their special day in glorious sunshine was SO amazing to be a part of!
I always get on well with my brides and grooms, Emma and I especially shared some long phone calls about all sorts, we normally started out chatting about the wedding and ended up chatting about just about everything else.
When I arrived in the morning it was madness ( I had already been warned ha) with some very excited children and a really good happy vibe from first walking in the door. Everyone was just so excited it was finally here!
I love Emma's dads reaction and you can see in the background her mum getting so emotional so a particularly special photo for Emma to cherish.
As you can see Rob and Emma could take or leave were just made up, it was so lovely to see them both so so happy! They have been together a long time so it was a really emotional moment.
The food at the great house is AMAZING I can't even describe how good these are! Rob and Emma were so easy going about everything and said to help myself, the most important thing to them was that everyone enjoyed the day and it was so lovely they included me in that.
This complete nutter actually jumped in the river during the drinks reception, by far the maddest thing I have ever seen at a wedding and yes we have photos! I haven't shared here as my second shooter took them and I only share my own images on this blog. The funniest thing was nobody was at all surprised and most guests expressed their surprise he lasted as long as he did without doing it.
Photos during the speeches can be some of the most emotive of the day. I love seeing all the happy faces and emotion.
A perfect way to end the day. Rob and Emma I hope you have the happiest life together, you both deserve it so much.

Danielle got ready in Kitts Cottages on the sprawling Wasing Park Estate and then headed down to the bridal suite to finish preparations.
Look at those amazing gardens!
Perfect reactions from a very emotional bridal party
I am a huge fan of getting animals involved in the day, you can see from the photos how much it meant to Danielle and Ben
These guys didn't stop laughing all day!
These guys brought all the party and I was so there for it!
]]>
I loved it that Alice did a groomsman sneak peak, I love different ideas and their reactions were the best!
It was really important to Alice and Alex that everyone had a good time and that the day was relaxed. The drinks reception was perfect with lawn games and the sun shining.
I love crying during the speeches!
What better way to celebrate than with a champagne spray! So fitting for the venue as well!
The dance floor was packed from the word go, dancing photos are so much fun, I love capturing the madness and laughter.
The venue was the stunning Post Barn, the venue has opened recently and the photo opportunities there are amazing!
Crying and laughter makes the best photos!
Pure happiness! The look on Courtneys face says it all. I love that you can see the girls so happy in the background.
Pride colours for some super cool smoke bomb photos!
Family is everything.
Escapee artists! We got the shot but this one was so much funnier :D
Most people booking me are big fans of the natural style photos so I always focus on getting photos of people laughing and enjoying themselves, its what the day is about!
Getting creative in the evening with the stunning archway at the post barn as a backdrop coupled with a smoke bomb for a really unique wedding photo.

Louise's dad was so emotional, this was the first time he had seen her in her dress.
Louise laughed when she saw this photo at how happy she was that Matt cried :D
Those faces say it all, a picture paints a thousand words!
The Ufton Court barn looked so fab! I love twinkly lights, the whole vibe of this wedding was just everything.

Weddings at The Vineyard at Stockcross are always beautiful! As one of my favourite wedding venues to work at I wanted to share a few photos from the venue from a couple of different weddings. I am proud to be a recommended supplier at this exclusive venue, I have worked here since around 2011 and have photographed a party for the owners and photos for their website during this time. The Vineyard and their sister hotel The Donnington Valley were one of the first venues to recommend me as they 'loved my natural style of photography'. It will always hold a special place in my heart and if you have ever eaten here I am sure it will for you also! I hope you enjoy looking through the photos.
Aiden and Kaya were married at Ufton Court, a beautiful wedding venue full of historic charm, if you live locally you may have gone to visit it as a child. It is still an educational trust and all of the proceeds from weddings are put back into the charity. A special thank you to everyone who helped to make this wedding so special, especially to Bramble Cottage flowers, Lissy Puig and Tesco's for their generous donations, I know Aiden and Kaya were hugely grateful.
Lissy Puig was Kaya's make up artist and she looked absolutely beautiful for her big day.
Aidan and Kaya have a little girl together, he walked in with her before the ceremony started which was such a lovely moment.
Grandad giving Kaya away, fun fact, grandad is an ex Olympic athlete!
Walking in with her little page boy Marley and Seeing Aidan for the first time
Marley looking on as mummy and Aidan exchange rings
Aidan and Kaya hold hands and their little girl joining in
I think every bride wants their groom to look at them like this
This little boy was so funny. I don't think he liked Aiden and Kaya kissing! Everyone else was thrilled!
The brides gorgeous bouquet and flowers were made by the hugely talented Bramble cottage flowers, they were absolutely stunning!
The speeches were really heartfelt and emotional, Kaya putting her hand out to Aidan, while his mum has a cuddle in the background.
Such a brave little boy, he stood up in front of a room full of guests and told everyone how much he loved his mummy and daddy and Aidan, so sweet.
These two made my job so easy, they are so natural together
Aidan and his mum, such a special bond
This is my favourite type of photo to take, I love capturing the moment, they had no idea I was taking it!
I enlisted the help of the wedding guests to take this photo of these two gorgeous siblings while Aidan and Kaya were not looking, as a little surprise to them after the day when they looked through the photos. Thank you to big brother Marley for all of his help getting his little sister to smile.
Rest easy Aiden, the most beautiful soul, you will always be remembered with a smile xxx
]]>An outfit change for the evening as Blair is a party animal and wanted to be comfy dancing.
First dance... a picture can say a thousand words.
This was one of my favourite moments ever at a wedding. These are Blaire's elderly grandparents, they flew all the way from South Africa to come, lasted all day and then in the evening got up and went mad on the dance floor, everyone was clapping and cheering. I will be happy if I have half their energy and spirit when I am that age!
Congratulations Blair and Neil and thank you so much for choosing me.
]]>Wedding photography at The Great House at Sonning is amazing. The decor is beautiful and it has a river and bridge out the back of the hotel that makes for some fabulous photos. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos of Ashleigh and Ben's day, I have a very natural style of wedding photography and always think the photos should be a by-product of the day and not what the day is about. Ashleigh and Ben really wanted to enjoy their wedding day and spend time with guests, so we spent just 15 minutes doing the pictures of the two of them together, I always try and work quickly to give people natural style pictures of them together but also give them the time to mingle and create memories of the day, which are so often the best photos anyway.
This little flower girl loved her teddy present so much
Pulling faces in the mirror before the ceremony
Amy's dad crying as he sees his little girl in her wedding dress for the first time.
I love this photo of the two grandmas laughing together before the ceremony
Amy is a cheerleader and we got some hilarious photos of the girls lifting her on the day- this was a first for me!
Bottoms up!
Sparkler photos are the best!
We went outside to take a couple of silhouette photos and I am so pleased that we did as these were some of Amy and Andy's favourite photos.
Cinderella package includes a studio with props set up in the evening for an hour during room turnaround to give the guests something fun to do in that time. Here are some of the guests making some funny memories!
First dance goals, Andy twirling Amy around on the dance floor as the guests look on. The New Inn Hotel is such a wonderful wedding venue I can't wait to work here again.
Like the majority of my weddings it was through a recommendation from friends Louise and Andrew that I met the lovely Kim and Ed. Kim got ready at The Swan at Streatley then it was over to the simply stunning Bradfield College Chapel for the ceremony. It is very unusual to be able to have your wedding ceremony at the chapel as it is reserved for former pupils of the college so this is only the second time I have ever had the opportunity to photograph there and it is absolutely breathtaking inside.
Kim wore a lovely bohemian flower headpiece which complimented the venue and overall relaxed look of the wedding perfectly.
Guests enjoying jokes with the groom Ed before Kim makes her entrance
Kim looked so beautiful, I love the way Ed is looking at Kim in this photo and the photo below of the bridesmaids reactions to this lovely moment.
Exiting the picturesque chapel and it is time for the confetti throw
An ecstatic bride and groom!
Guests congratulate the bride and groom and then it is back to the wonderful Ufton Court for drinks reception and photos.
I always get some of my personal favourite photos during the speeches. I love photographing the guests reactions!
I think Ed is pretty happy he now gets to call this lovely lady his wife!
A great way to finish with guests cutting some shapes on the dance floor! Congratulations to the lovely Kim and Ed x

Enjoying an outdoor wedding reception in February outside of Ufton Court main house, Louise and Martin couldn't believe their luck!
Walking through the beautiful woodlands at Ufton Court.
What a room setup! It is just perfect. I love the lanterns they really transform the Ufton Court Tithe Barn to complete that festival look.
Louise at Martin singing at the boys, just what you want when your a teenager your mother serenading you in front of 100 wedding guests, his reaction was so funny!
The girls having an impromptu dance off during the wedding breakfast
Capturing people laughing is the thing I enjoy doing the most, I am normally laughing from behind the camera with them, laughing is so infectious!
The first dance was great Louise and Martin laughed all the way through it and I got some really energetic photos of the guests dancing into the evening.
congratulations to Louise and Martin

Mummy and grandma sharing a cuddle
The marquee in the garden looked just gorgeous. The flowers were so wild and natural looking, it all complimented the relaxed English country garden wedding feel perfectly.
Sophie's mum holding back the tears as Sophie is buttoned into her dress.
What a beautiful bride
Guests arriving at church of the Ascension Burghclere
The champagne and canapés flowed as guests enjoyed the drinks reception, it was such a hot day!
We did the group photos while the drinks reception was ongoing, I tried to do these as quickly as I could for Sophie and Nico as they wanted the emphasis to be on a more natural feel for the day. This enabled me to get lots of photos of guests mingling and enjoying themselves which were the most important ones to them.
The perfectly maintained gardens made for the most wonderful photos.
The speeches were so emotional Sophie's dad delivered the most heartfelt words, I love this photo of Sophie wiping away the tears.
I don't think this was his!
A perfect end to the most perfect day, congratulations Nico and Sophie.

I love this picture of the little flower girl helping to do up the buttons on the dress.
It was rainy coming out of the barn, this actually made gorgeous photos!
It poured down the whole day but with clever use of umbrellas and the legend ushers diving in and out of the photos to keep the bride and groom dry we managed to get some lovely shots. Ufton Court has its own private woodland and Megan really wanted the photos taken there, I am so happy Tom was up for it too!
Both of Megan's parents got something in their eye at the same time, what are the chances :D
Beautiful lighting and fairylights in the background make for the prettiest nighttime photo of Megan and Tom sharing a kiss.
Hilarious guest reactions to giant Jenga!
Guests congratulating Tom and Megan after their first dance.

Rosie has the bluest eyes, she looked absolutely stunning with long flowing hair and a silk ballgown dress, the look was so very fairytail and with such a grand venue it worked perfectly.
If you are going to look like a princess and get married in a mansion in the New Forest there is really no other choice for the transport. I love horses and this carriage looked so much like the one from Cinderella, just magical.
Rosie and Tim's son walked Rosie up the aisle, as Rosie got to the front she put her hand on his shoulder to say thank you, this is one of my personal favourite photos as I think it captures the most special relationship between a mother and her son.
Rosie's family ecstatic to see them married.
Panoramic views across the New Forest as the horse and carriage makes its way from the church back to Rhinefield House Hotel for the reception, with the wild new forest ponies looking on either side.
The girls posing for bridesmaids photos in the most perfect grounds.
Laughing together on their wedding day
The Speeches always make for some fantastic shots of guests enjoying themselves.
The roulette tables provided something a little different in the evening for guest to enjoy.
A really good evening celebration, the dance floor was packed from the word go! Congratulations to Rosie and Tim.

Emily chose a simple figure hugging dress, I love this photo of her fathers reaction to seeing her as the finishing touches are completed.
Kieren's dad shares a joke just before the ceremony begins.
I love this little flower girls reaction as bride and groom are pronounced man and wife.
Kieren and Emily laughing together as the readings take place in the victorian summerhouse
And they are still laughing together, I would much rather take a photo like this than getting serious posed look at the camera and grin pictures! I prefer to capture people as they are.
Group photos look so much better when people are really smiling rather than forcing it for photos, I love to capture the group pictures in a more natural way.
The Wasing Park cat had to be in the photos, this cat is winning at life, he is now surrounded by an entire group of cat lovers and being the most cuddly cat in the world this is his lifes ambition. I have lost count of how many photos this cat has photobombed!
Simple flowers in vases on tree stumps looked so gorgeous and fitted perfectly with the natural feel of the day, Wasing Park doesn't need too much as the barn building is so beautiful in its own right.
Tears and a lot of laughter during the speeches. Kieren's; speech was brilliant, he is so funny anyway., it was always going to be good.
The most adorable flower girls ever and their little outfits were just so perfect.
Guests relaxing outside before the evening reception begins.
Some dreamy light in these photos taken when the sun was a little lower in the sky. Wasing Park has the most amazing grounds for photos and as everything is so close together it makes the photos so much quicker to do, so more time for Kieren and Emily to relax with guests and enjoy the day.
Giggling through the first dance a very happy ending to a perfect day, congratulations to Emily and Kieren
Abbey's dress was just dreamy with a tulle skirt and high neck, very bohemian and relaxed.
One of Abbeys bridesmaids was an mua and did Abbeys make up in the morning, she looked perfect. Hair was by Nicky Weller, a beautiful relaxed style that perfectly matched with Abbey's dress.
Amazing details dream shoes for any girl!
Being given her flowers by Buds Floristry, Abbey's face says it all :)
Doing up the dress, the girls reaction the first time they see Abbey in her dress is priceless.
Tears and happy faces
Time for a couple of photos of this gorgeous bunch before the ceremony.
The boys waiting in the ceremony room at Oakley Hall, Joe is such a joker he is always laughing, this photo perfectly sums up his personality. That is dad laughing in the background with Joe's niece, I wander where he gets it from!
A very happy bride and groom
Possibly even happier wedding guests as Joe and Abbey are pronounced man and wife!
The boys giving Joe the bumps.
Stunning panoramic views at Oakley Hall over neighbouring farmland made for some beautiful photos of the two of them together.
Laughing together, that is all these two did all day, it made my job easy!
Joe laughing with Abbey during the speeches. Abbey and Joe had their wedding breakfast in the marquee at Oakley Hall.
Joe's mum wiping away the tears in a more tender moment.
Wedding guests giggling together over photos.
After the room turnaround Abbey and Joe did their first dance, I got this photo just after the guests came and joined the two of them when they thought nobody was watching. The natural photos are always the best :)

This is my second Dutch wedding, the first one was for their close friends Mr and Mrs Van -Stratton who's wedding I photographed a couple of years before and they did their first look with their dog which was so great! The majority of my work comes from word of mouth and I am always busy so a huge thank you to all of my lovely customers for recommending me.
In the Netherlands the order of the day is a little different. The main speeches were done before the wedding took place. The weddings have a really relaxed tone to them which I really love as photographing natural photos is what I love to do.
As this was my first time photographing in London all of us were looking at places to take photos and Sanne found this absolutely incredible market place complete with cobbled streets. We went all around London in a wedding taxi and took photos all over.
Coming down the steps of St Paul's cathedral and the veil caught in the wind making for a beautiful shot.
Street photography mixed with weddings is the best, I love the lady in the background turning to smile at the bride and groom, they got so many smiles walking through.
Big Ben is such an iconic symbol of London
Romantic photos on the bridge with the Shard in the background. These two just looked so fantastic together.
This is quite simply the most romantic thing I have ever witnessed. We were walking through Piccadilly Circus and had actually finished taking photos, we were just walking back to the taxi. A busker is playing Bastille with a crowd of people stood watching. He asks 'Shall we dance?' I totally thought that Sanne would say no, she is a quiet girl but she smiled and took his hand and he led her to the centre and they danced and saw no-one else, just each other. When I said after about how many people were filming on their phones they were so surprised! I love this moment so much because it was not set up for the camera it was two people in love on their wedding day who wanted to dance. In many years when they are old and grey they can show this to their family and tell them this was us dancing on our wedding day in Piccadilly Circus. Keep being so spontaneous and free, you are going to have the BEST marriage! xxxxxx
I might have cried a bit :)
And then to the actual wedding, I think this photo says it all. Two people who are so happy together.
I think Gijs-Jan had something in his eye ;)
I don't think I have ever seen someone so happy!
One final photo at the end of the night, Tower Bridge made a pretty spectacular backdrop! I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog post. Wow what a year! I got featured in the evening standards and bride books list of best wedding photos, I have helped stitch people into dresses, seen brides crying, grooms crying, dads crying, even the dog crying and of course a lot of laughter too. I have included a few of my personal favourite images from this year, I hope you all enjoy looking through. If you are interested in booking me please visit the Contact me section of the site to see if your date is available. Please note I normally get booked up well in advance with summer dates being the first to go, so it is best to contact sooner rather than later. Please note if you have an emergency situation e.g. photographer is sick even if your wedding is tomorrow please call, due to the time it takes to edit and put together books I always keep a few dates free and also know a good network of photographers, if I am able to help I will. I will stop talking now as a picture really does speak a thousand words :)

Once Daniela arrived at Rivervale I took a couple of photos as they waited in the car and then went into the barn to say hi to James, who was looking quite nervous!
I think Daniela's parents were pretty elated to finally see their daughter married! Daniela and James have been together a long time :)
After the ceremony a serious amount of confetti was thrown and Daniela and James left Rivervale for a quick trip in the car to enjoy a bit of time with just the two of them. I love the guests faces in the background of the confetti photos!
We always do traditional group shots as well, but it is nice to include some that are a bit more fun/natural. I love the one above with their parents. Everyone looks so happy and it is so sweet how mum is giving Daniela a kiss, I didn't ask her to it was just how it happened.
I love how good the reflection is here! Daniela and James chose this one for the canvas and we turned it upside down and you could see them perfectly! The grounds at Rivervale are stunning in Autumn, the next photos with the red tree behind goes so well with the colours in the bouquet.
The speeches were absoloutely brilliant with a lot of crying and laughter. The best men did a brilliant job and both James and Daniella's dad gave emotional speeches which made fantastic photos. After the speeches it was time for the evening reception. Daniella first chose to dance with her father, I love this photo, you can see the pride in her fathers eyes.
Then it was James' turn and I don't think they could look much happier!
The photo studio was a big hit in the evening, we had so many hilarious photos! I photographed Louise's sister Holly's wedding previously and it was really lovely to see Holly and Anthony there with their little boy and now there are four as they have had a baby since :) We started the day at Istyle hair salon in Newbury. It was so relaxed and fun in the morning, we took over the hair salon, the girls at the salon were happy for me to snap away and I got some lovely photos of Louise and the girls enjoying the pampering.
After the hair and make up had been done we were back to Louise's for putting on the dress and a little bit of chilling out time. I love this picture of Louise in her mum and dads house she looks like a magazine bride :)
Then it was time to leave for Combe Manor.
This was taken as the girls walked up to Combe Manor house to wait for Louise. I quickly ran ahead to get the photo.
Louise's dad holding up her dress as she walks up the drive of Combe Manor
A fun one just before we walked over to Combe Manor Church, I loved Louise's veil, a long veil for photos is so great :) Then it was time to walk up that aisle! This was taken as Andrew and Louise first looked at each other.
Louise and Andrew's sister having a little cry :) As you can see from below definitely happy tears!
Andrew and Lousie walking out of Combe Church, they both look so elated, I don't think these two stopped grinning all day.
Guests formed a line from Combe Church to the venue (the church and venue are right next to each other) for Andrew and Louise to walk through, they were showered in confetti, so many happy faces.
Then to the drinks reception and a a few group photos on the lawn. Pimms on the lawn was made for Combe Manor! I love this photo of Louise and Andrew outside Combe Manor Barn.
The photos of people relaxing and enjoying themselves are always some of my favourites, I think these kind of photos are what help Louise and Andrew to look back and remember what a brilliant time everyone had. Also they get to see parts of the day they would have otherwise missed, it all goes by so fast.
This is my idea of a CAKE! I love cheese!!!!!
A standing ovation for the happy couple as they enter the Combe Manor Barn.
We did a few photos in the early evening light in the grounds of Combe Manor.
I love this panoramic, all of us are totally obsessed with the T.V series Peaky Blinders and when I took this photo I thought it has the peaky blinders look to it. The views in the background are stunning, this was taken in the grounds of Combe Manor and the hill in the background I think is Combe Gibbet
Andrew suggested we all get in for a selfie, I totally forgot about this photo until I got to it while I was editing, it made me laugh, I have it as my cover photo on Facebook now :)
I love this photo, the first dance and surrounded by guests but there could be nobody else in the room. THE END :) I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog post.
