The Gherkin London wedding venue is a wedding photographers perfect backdrop. Blaire and Neil were married at The Gherkin.  The wedding had a black tie theme which looked so striking in the wedding photos.  I know Blair and Neil personally and I was so happy they picked me to do their photos it was so lovely to see them get married, they have been together forever!  Blair looked absolutely amazing in a fitted mermaid style dress and the venue was incredible.  This was on the day of the Brexit protests in London, thankfuly I always like to allow more time than I need, so my two hours extra time to allow for contingencies was really needed, I ended up arriving exactly on time, thank goodness I am paranoid about traffic :) I hope you enjoy looking through the photos. 

An outfit change for the evening as Blair is a party animal and wanted to be comfy dancing. 

First dance... a picture can say a thousand words. 

This was one of my favourite moments ever at a wedding.  These are Blaire's elderly grandparents, they flew all the way from South Africa to come, lasted all day and then in the evening got up and went mad on the dance floor,  everyone was clapping and cheering. I will be happy if I have half their energy and spirit when I am that age!
